Adult Ballet Classes

Both have danced professionally as Principal Dancers for over 20 years and bring extensive teaching and choreographic experience from ballet schools and companies across the UK and internationally.
For the past 20 years, BRBS has been Bristol’s longstanding Ballet School for high-quality ballet training, based in the Ashton/Bedminster area and known for producing many professional Ballet dancers.
Our Adult Ballet classes are based on Russian ballet technique with free-style elements to support adult learners of all levels.

Class Levels

We offer three levels of Adult Ballet during school terms.

Fees

• £12 drop-in
  (Cash on the day or bank transfer in advance)
• £50 for 5 lessons
  (Pay in advance; credit valid for 3 months)

Beginner Adult Ballet Class

Monday 9:30–10:45am

Location: Unity Studio, Monarch House, 1–7 Smyth Rd, Bedminster, Bristol, BS3 2BX
Age: 18+
Level: Beginner to Grade 5

Class includes:
Short warm-up & floor exercises
Barre work
Centre practice including allegros. (Small jumps)

Intermediate Adult Ballet Class

Friday 9:30–10:45am

Location: Unity Studio, Monarch House, 1–7 Smyth Rd, Bedminster, Bristol, BS3 2BX
Age: 18+
Level: Grade 6 to Advanced

Class includes:
Full barre work
Centre work including allegro (small & medium jumps)

Intermediate – Advanced Adult Ballet Class

Wednesday 6:30–7:45pm

Location: Ashton Park Sports Centre
Ashton Park School, Blackmoor’s Lane, Bower Ashton, Bristol, BS3 2JL
Level: Advanced & experienced dancers (18+)

This mixed-age class welcomes both male and female adult dancers.

Class includes:
Full Barre works
Full Centre works

Ashton Park Sports Centre Dance studio features:

Mirrors & barres
Harlequin dance flooring
Underfloor heating (ideal for winter)
